Call for articles

The Tasmanian Conservation Trust is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from people wishing to write an evidence-based critique or essay on a conservation related issue relevant to Tasmania. The article will be 900 to 1200 words on an important issue which currently gets inadequate coverage and debate, or a new perspective on a prominent issue.

EOIs of 200 words or less can be emailed to news@tct.org.au by midday on Monday 10 July 2017 (previous 30 June) and responded to be the end of the following week. Greenlit articles will then be due on Wednesday 9 August.

The TCT has published The Tasmanian Conservationist since the organisation started in 1968. Recent contributors have included Adrian Pyrke (former fire management planner for PWS), Jess Feehely (Environmental Defenders Office), Greg Irons (Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary) and many others.

Articles from previous issues can be found at http://www.tasconservation.org.au/tas-conservationist/ and hard copies are available at the Tasmanian Conservation Trust and at the Tasmanian State Library.
